Portfolio Managers Weigh Trump Impact on Financials

As traders and portfolio managers wait for U.S. markets to open in the wake of Donald Trump's surprise win, financial stocks are front and center.
Some expect bank stocks to benefit from the prospect of lighter regulation and the repeal of all or part of the Dodd-Frank Act. However longer term, that prospect is raising some alarm bells.
"A blanket repeal of Dodd-Frank would not be good because some of the regulations are good for managing risks that lead to the 2008--2009 financial crisis," says Gabriel Solomon, manager of T. Rowe Price Group's financial services strategy.

Presidential election after math.
